On behalf of our client, Harper Finley are recruiting a Procurement Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis for our client based in Dublin 15. This company works in the sale and supply of agricultural machinery and parts. This role reports to the Parts Director and is responsible for dealing with and maintaining strong relationships suppliers, and play a vital role in the Supply Chain of the business.  
  
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Source new and replacement products from existing and new suppliers, focusing on improving quality, cost, and delivery efficiency. Maintain strong relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
  • Act as a key liaison between suppliers, internal departments (sales, marketing, warehouse), and external agents to ensure smooth operations, clear communication, and timely deliveries.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to align purchasing decisions with demand and forecasted needs.
  • Handle product specifications, shipping regulations, and customs documentation while ensuring product listings and information are current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve issues, manage product launches, and support business goals.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and proactively seek opportunities for innovation and efficiency in sourcing and procurement practices.
  
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Previous experience working in a procurement, supply chain or product sourcing role in a machinery or parts company is essential.
  • Experience in the agricultural industry, or a farming background is preferred.
  • Procurement or Supply Chain qualification would be advantageous
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communicator and good negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and high levels of accuracy
