About the Company Our client is a leader in lifting equipment solutions — designing, building, installing, and maintaining everything from gantry cranes to hoists. With a strong reputation for reliability and service, they’re now expanding their commercial team and looking for a confident, people-first Inside Sales Executive to join them.
Why This Role? You’ll be the voice and face of the business for customers - whether over the phone, by email, or in person at the trade desk. From managing inbound queries to generating new leads, you’ll own the sales process and help customers find the right solution. No need to be an expert in lifting equipment - full product training is provided. What You’ll Be Doing:
Building lasting relationships with customers and checking in regularly to ensure satisfaction
Proactively generating new leads and spotting new business opportunities
Responding to inbound inquiries with tailored advice and accurate quotes
Following up on quotes to convert them into confirmed sales
Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell during conversations
Collaborating with the workshop and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Keeping accurate records of all sales activity in the CRM system
What You’ll Need:
A degree in Engineering, Business, or similar (Preferred not essential)
At least 2 years’ experience in inside sales, business development, or customer service
A customer-first mindset and proven ability to build rapport and close sales
Confidence, curiosity, and initiative - you won’t need hand-holding
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle tasks and priorities
