On behalf of our client, Harper Finley are recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. This role joins an established team and is crucial in supporting the accounting function on the business. The role is based fully on site. Duties & Responsibilities:
Handle the processing of customer and supplier invoices, as well as bank transactions and deposits.
Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Compile and present monthly financial reports for management review.
Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Address finance-related inquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal team members.
Monitor and verify that all expenses comply with company policies and controls.
Manage accounts receivable and support debt recovery efforts.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
1+ years’ experience in a relevant account’s role, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounts administrator etc
Relevant qualification e.g. Degree in Accounting & Finance or Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI) or QQI Qualification
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
An interest in the Irish Language would be advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
€32,000 - €35,000
