The Company:
Our client is a well-established logistics and freight services provider with operations across Ireland and the UK. They offer a comprehensive range of services including express groupage, full-load freight, warehousing, air and ocean freight, and freight forwarding. The company operates scheduled logistics routes and supports a broad client base across various sectors.
 
The Role:
A key leadership opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at the Dublin site. The role focuses on optimising warehouse efficiency, team performance, stock control, and client satisfaction while ensuring compliance and profitability.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and service quality
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance and safety standards
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments, UK operations, and customs teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, costs, and profitability in collaboration with finance
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and maximise revenue opportunities
  • Uphold site security, health & safety compliance, and high housekeeping standards
  • Oversee stock control, freight measurement, and documentation accuracy
  • Manage third-party stock relationships as required
  • Drive continuous improvement across all warehouse activities
 
The Person:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics
  • Strong background in stock control and operational oversight
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (Azyra or similar)
  • Effective communicator with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
 
The Offer:
  • Base salary of €45,000 - €50,000
