The Role:
As Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in launching a new food waste collection service across the commercial sector. Targeting restaurants, catering businesses, food producers, and other high-volume waste generators, you will champion responsible waste management practices and help power one of Ireland’s flagship bioenergy facilities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan targeting key commercial sectors
  • Prospect and generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits to assess client requirements
  • Deliver tailored solutions and product recommendations aligned to customer needs
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress in a CRM system
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure unified commercial messaging
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and sustainability best practices
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
 
The Person:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales (experience in waste management, environmental services, or facilities solutions is desirable)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute
  • Able to translate technical product features into compelling client benefits
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel for client visits
 
The Offer:
