The Role: The Fitter will maintain, repair, and improve production machinery to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
Complete preventative maintenance and reduce equipment downtime
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively
Work with production teams to resolve equipment issues
Keep accurate maintenance records
Follow all safety and compliance procedures
The Person:
Qualified Mechanical Fitter or similar
Experience in manufacturing or food production preferred
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, motors, etc.
