Leitrim Job Type: Full-time | Permanent About the Role: A well-established four-star hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon is seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead its front-of-house Food & Beverage operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to oversee the restaurant, bar, coffee shop, banqueting, weddings, events and room service while delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving commercial performance. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, ensure outstanding service standards and play a key role in the continued success of the hotel's Food & Beverage operation. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all front-of-house Food & Beverage operations.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences across all outlets.
Oversee restaurant, bar, coffee shop, banqueting, weddings, conferences and room service.
Recruit, train, coach and develop the Food & Beverage team.
Manage staffing levels, rosters and labour costs.
Control beverage purchasing, stock management and cost percentages.
Drive revenue through excellent service, upselling and promotions.
Work closely with the Head Chef and senior management team to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and licensing legislation.
Monitor performance, maintain high service standards and implement continuous improvements.
About You The successful candidate will have:
A minimum of three years' experience in a Food & Beverage Management role within a hotel or quality hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Experience managing weddings, conferences and banqueting operations.
Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs and stock control.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Food Safety Certification (or equivalent) is desirable.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
