Our client is a growing supplier to the construction and hardware sector, seeking an ambitious and relationship-driven Field Sales Representative to develop business across Cork, Kerry and the wider Munster region. This is a field-based role suited to someone with strong sales experience within the hardware, construction, timber or building materials industry. You'll be dealing directly with builders, contractors and trade customers, building long-term relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors and trade customers throughout your territory.
Visit construction sites and customer premises on a daily basis.
Identify upcoming projects and proactively develop a healthy sales pipeline.
Work closely with builders, self-builders, agricultural contractors, landscaping companies, log cabin businesses and garden centres.
Provide product advice and identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
Accurately manage customer activity and opportunities using the company CRM system.
Consistently work towards and exceed sales targets.
Requirements
Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally within hardware, construction, timber, building materials or a related industry.
Comfortable dealing with builders, contractors and trade professionals on-site and on the road.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing your own territory effectively.
Good administrative and CRM skills.
Full clean driving licence.
