Project Manager Location: Tuam, Co. Galway Salary: €75,000 – €80,000 DOE + Company Car + Bonus
Our client is a well-established Irish events infrastructure business specialising in the design, supply and delivery of marquees and temporary structures for major corporate, sporting, hospitality and entertainment events across Ireland and the UK. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Tuam-based team, taking ownership of multiple projects from initial client engagement and design through to procurement, logistics, installation, event delivery and post-event dismantling. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile sporting events, festivals, corporate events and large-scale hospitality projects.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects from initial client engagement and quotation through to delivery, handover and post-event dismantling.
Attend client and site meetings, acting as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan project requirements, including design, materials, labour, logistics, subcontractors and build/dismantle schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, site teams and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
Coordinate procurement and ensure all required materials, equipment and resources are available on schedule.
Oversee on-site installation and delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Prepare and review project documentation, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments where required.
Brief site supervisors and teams on project requirements and specifications.
Monitor Health & Safety compliance across project sites.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Assist with tenders, project costing and client invoicing.
Maintain accurate technical information relating to marquee materials and structures.
Requirements
Level 8 degree qualification, ideally in Engineering, Construction Management, Event Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing projects from start to finish.
Strong project planning, organisational and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking ownership and working independently.
Comfortable working to strict deadlines and adapting to changing project requirements.
Flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to work around event schedules when required.
Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Experience
Experience within the construction, events, temporary structures, hospitality or related industries.
Experience working on large-scale events, festivals or complex temporary installations.
Knowledge of Health & Safety best practice.
Experience with CAD or technical design software.
Land surveying experience.
Experience coordinating subcontractors, site teams and logistics across multiple projects.
Offer
€75,000 – €80,000 salary, depending on experience.
