Site Technician Location: Sandyford, Co. Dublin Department: Site Team Reports To: Development Director / Construction Project Manager
Role Our client is a established property development and construction business in Sandyford, Dublin. They are seeking a Site Technician to join their development team. This is a hands-on site-based role working closely with senior engineers, the development team and site management. The successful candidate will be responsible for site inspections, document control, reporting and supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring key documentation, inspections, submissions and administrative processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Manage the Procore system, including invitations and permissions, Requests for Information (RFIs), material and design submittals, and designer/subcontractor documentation.
Coordinate and manage BCAR inspections.
Manage benchmark and first-of-kind inspections.
Assist with onboarding new suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they are familiar with company processes and systems.
Manage procurement RFIs, submittals and subcontractor onboarding.
Order site office materials and track Purchase Orders using Yooz.
Assist with the implementation of OpenSpace Reality Capture to record and monitor construction progress.
Maintain accurate site documentation and records.
Print drawings and other documentation on site as required.
Record and distribute meeting minutes.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the site management team.
Undertake additional duties as required by the Site Team.
Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar site-based role.
Previous experience working in the Irish construction industry is highly desirable.
Degree or relevant third-level qualification desirable but not essential.
Current Safe Pass desirable.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Procore would be a significant advantage.
Minimum B2 level English.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
This is a full-time, site-based position in Sandyford, Dublin, with no remote working.
