Role
Our client is a established property development and construction business in Sandyford, Dublin. They are seeking a Site Technician to join their development team. This is a hands-on site-based role working closely with senior engineers, the development team and site management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for site inspections, document control, reporting and supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring key documentation, inspections, submissions and administrative processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Procore system, including invitations and permissions, Requests for Information (RFIs), material and design submittals, and designer/subcontractor documentation.
  • Coordinate and manage BCAR inspections.
  • Manage benchmark and first-of-kind inspections.
  • Assist with onboarding new suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they are familiar with company processes and systems.
  • Manage procurement RFIs, submittals and subcontractor onboarding.
  • Order site office materials and track Purchase Orders using Yooz.
  • Assist with the implementation of OpenSpace Reality Capture to record and monitor construction progress.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation and records.
  • Print drawings and other documentation on site as required.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the site management team.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Site Team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar site-based role.
  • Previous experience working in the Irish construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Degree or relevant third-level qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Current Safe Pass desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Procore would be a significant advantage.
  • Minimum B2 level English.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • This is a full-time, site-based position in Sandyford, Dublin, with no remote working.
