Group Financial Accountant
Location: Fassaroe, Bray, Co. Wicklow initially, moving to Ballycoolin, Dublin in 2027
Salary: €70,000-€75,000
 
We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to support group reporting, monthly consolidation, financial statements and the annual audit process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified finance professional looking to develop their career within a growing, fast-paced business. You will work closely with Group Finance and teams across legal, company secretarial, tax, treasury, commercial finance and operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support annual Group financial statements under IFRS and assist with the annual audit.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Group reporting and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare subsidiary financial statements under FRS 101 and FRS 102.
  • Analyse subsidiary accounts and support monthly management reporting packs.
  • Lead monthly and annual intercompany reconciliation processes.
  • Research and apply technical accounting standards and guidance.
  • Support improvements to finance systems, technology and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to finance transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Assist with implementing and monitoring internal controls.
  • Support period-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliation review and approval.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax, treasury, commercial finance and operational teams.
About You
You will be a qualified or recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA professional with strong technical accounting knowledge.
 
Ideally, you will have:
  • Big 4 training experience.
  • Financial reporting experience, preferably within industry.
  • Exposure to IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102.
  • Experience with consolidations and group accounting.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Workday experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with strong ownership.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset.
