The Role We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join a professional advisory team in Athlone. You will work primarily across Corporate Finance and Transaction Support assignments, managing projects and working closely with the Director. This is a varied role offering exposure to challenging assignments involving business planning, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring, business sales, succession planning and transaction support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Corporate Finance and Transaction Support assignments from start to completion.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, financial modelling and company valuations.
Assist clients in preparing their businesses for sale and supporting the sale process.
Support acquisition projects, including strategic appraisal, transaction structuring and due diligence.
Develop innovative and commercially focused solutions for clients.
Assist with debt and equity funding projects.
Prepare professional reports, presentations and client communications.
Liaise directly with clients, professional advisers and other stakeholders.
Manage multiple assignments and workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
Provide support on business recovery, restructuring and succession planning assignments where required.
Candidate Profile
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with relevant Corporate Finance experience.
Strong financial analysis, modelling and valuation skills.
Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence dealing directly with clients.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
High level of attention to detail and professional judgement.
A proactive approach with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
