About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts & Service Coordinator / Advisor to join a well-established and growing business within the machinery and equipment sector.
This is a newly created position designed to take ownership of the parts and service coordination function, supporting field service engineers and the workshop. You will ensure engineers have the correct parts available for scheduled jobs while supporting the workshop with parts required for repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order and source parts required by field service engineers and the workshop.
  • Ensure engineers have the correct parts available for scheduled service and repair jobs.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, lead times and deliveries.
  • Track orders, outstanding parts, deliveries and stock requirements.
  • Support the workshop with parts required for machinery undergoing repair.
  • Manage warranty claims, including checking whether replaced parts are covered under warranty.
  • Process warranty claims and follow up with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, warranties and service-related administration.
  • Coordinate with engineers and workshop personnel to ensure jobs progress efficiently.
  • Provide general parts and service administration and identify opportunities to improve processes.
About You
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Senior Parts Advisor, Service Advisor or in a similar position.
  • Motor trade experience would be highly relevant.
  • Candidates from plant, HGV, agricultural machinery or similar equipment backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Good understanding of parts ordering, sourcing and workshop processes.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive, practical and comfortable working independently.
  • Good IT and administration skills.
