The Company: Our client is a well-established engineering company providing commercial gas installation, servicing, maintenance and repair services to clients across Ireland.
The Role: They are seeking an experienced RGII Certified Gas Service / Installation Engineer to join their field-based team. The role involves commercial gas installs, servicing, breakdowns, repairs and emergency callouts across client sites.
Responsibilities:
Install commercial gas heating systems and replacement units
Service and maintain radiant and warm air heating systems
Carry out gas pipework, with no welding required
Diagnose and repair gas burner faults
Attend breakdowns and emergency repairs
Complete service reports and records
Work safely and professionally on client sites
The Person:
RGII certification is required
GIS / GID certification preferred
NDG certification preferred
Experience with gas burner fault finding, servicing and repairs
Commercial gas, pipework or plumbing experience desirable
Basic electrical skills advantageous
Full, clean driving licence
Safety-focused with good customer service skills
Open to completing further training, including Safe Pass, MEWP, AW Training and Manual Handling
The Offer:
Base salary of €50,000 – €55,000 DOE
Average earnings of €65,000 – €70,000 DOE including overtime and expenses
