The Company: Our client is a well-established engineering company providing commercial gas installation, servicing, maintenance and repair services across Ireland.
The Role: They are looking for an RGII Certified Gas Engineer to join their field-based team. You’ll work on commercial gas installations, servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs across client sites. The role offers a €50,000–€55,000 base salary, with average earnings of €65,000–€70,000 including overtime and expenses, plus a company van.
Responsibilities:
Install commercial gas heating systems and replacement units
Service and maintain radiant and warm air heating systems
Carry out gas pipework, with no welding required
Diagnose and repair gas burner faults
Attend breakdowns and emergency repairs
Complete service reports and work safely on client sites
The Person:
RGII certification is required
Experience with gas burner servicing, fault finding and repairs
GIS / GID and NDG certification preferred
Commercial gas, pipework or plumbing experience desirable
Basic electrical skills advantageous
Full, clean driving licence
Good customer service skills and a safety-focused approach
Willing to complete any further training required for the role
The Offer:
Base salary of €50,000–€55,000 DOE
Average earnings of €65,000–€70,000 DOE, including overtime and expenses
