Overview Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Property Administrator to join their Residential Block Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with property, estate agency or housing administration experience to develop their career within residential block management.
The successful Property Administrator will provide day-to-day administrative support across a portfolio of residential multi-unit developments, including apartment blocks and housing estates. The role will involve resident communications, legal documentation, maintenance coordination, contractor liaison and accurate property record management.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries from property owners, tenants and other stakeholders.
Manage daily office administration, including incoming post, outgoing correspondence and document management.
Prepare, compile and issue MUD Act replies and pre-contract sales documentation for solicitors.
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, including lifts, cleaning, landscaping, waste management and communal services.
Issue work orders to approved contractors and monitor completion of works.
Liaise with contractors, residents, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Maintain accurate contractor records, including key handovers, health and safety documentation and insurance details.
Verify contractor invoices and maintain accurate supporting records.
Respond to enquiries regarding building access, parking permits and estate regulations.
Maintain accurate property records and support compliance with the MUD Act 2011 and PSRA requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the wider Property Management team.
Requirements
1-2+ years' experience in property administration or a similar role.
Residential block management, estate agency or housing experience is highly desirable.
Understanding of the MUD Act 2011 is advantageous.
Experience preparing legal sales packs or MUD Act documentation is beneficial.
PSRA Category C or D licence is advantageous but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Blockman or similar property management software is beneficial.
Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
