The Company: Our client is an established engineering business specialising in compressed air systems, industrial equipment and mechanical installations. They deliver installation, maintenance and engineering services to commercial and industrial customers across Ireland.
The Role: We are recruiting for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join a field-based installation team. The role involves installing, modifying and maintaining compressed air pipework systems across industrial and commercial sites.
Responsibilities:
Install compressed air pipework and associated fittings.
Work with aluminium and other industrial pipework systems.
Measure, cut, assemble and fit pipework to required specifications.
Install brackets, supports, valves and connections.
Carry out pressure testing, leak detection and repairs.
Read drawings and work to site layouts and installation requirements.
Assist with compressor and compressed air equipment installations.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
The Person:
Previous experience as a Pipefitter.
Experience installing industrial or commercial pipework systems.
Comfortable measuring, cutting and assembling pipework.
Experience with compressed air systems is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow installation specifications.
Safe Pass and MEWP certification advantageous.
Full driving licence.
Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of site safety.
