Harper Finley Recruitment has partnered with a well-established medical device supplier to recruit a Field Customer Support Representative covering Kilkenny, Carlow and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding, people-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a genuine difference in people's day-to-day lives.
In this role, you'll visit patients in their homes to deliver, install and demonstrate medical equipment, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident using it. You'll also provide ongoing support to patients, their families and carers through regular home visits and phone check-ins.
No previous medical or clinical experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, experience in a caring, customer-facing or field-based role would be an advantage. We're looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, reliable and enjoys building relationships with people.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional levels of customer service to all clients
Deliver and install equipment in hospitals, care facilities and patients’ homes
Show patients, carers and healthcare staff how to use equipment
Provide ongoing support and help resolve issues for patients, carers and medical staff
Troubleshoot user issues
Respond to equipment breakdowns and queries related to products
Carry out routine patient visits to check equipment
Keep patient and customer records up to date
Requirements:
Full, clean Irish driving licence
A kind, caring and patient manner
Willingness to travel and spend long hours driving
Excellent communication skills, an ability to give clear instructions in person an over the phone
An interest in learning about medical products
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in client facing roles, ideally in a caring or face to face capacity
Confidence is using a tablet for work
Good geographical knowledge and an ability to plan routes effectively
Availability for on call rota, once a month
Fluency in the English language, written and verbal.
