The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our client in Co. Meath. This leadership role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring employees, contractors, and partners understand their responsibilities and feel empowered to act.
  
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SHEQ strategies aligned with legislation and company goals.
  • Lead and develop the SHEQ team, ensuring capability and motivation.
  • Drive compliance by embedding policies, procedures, and training across the business.
  • Manage audits, investigations, and reviews, ensuring effective reporting and corrective actions.
  • Monitor industry trends, share insights, and promote innovation to enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and external bodies to uphold and improve standards.
  • Report on SHEQ performance, presenting data and monitoring service levels against industry benchmarks. 
Experience & Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a track record of driving health & safety culture change across multi-site, operational businesses.
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or relevant degree) in Occupational Health & Safety/Environmental Management, with ongoing CPD.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO Standards and proven auditing experience.
  • Experience managing geographically spread teams and ensuring consistent policy implementation.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing SHEQ KPIs to drive improvement
  • Confident in liaising with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external clients.
  • Full driving licence.

  • Base Salary of €50,000 - €60,000
