The Role:
The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities across the property portfolio. This role is central to ensuring properties are kept to the highest standards, compliance obligations are met, and clients receive a professional service. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance team, manage contractors, and implement efficient systems and processes to support the operations department.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across the portfolio
  • Manage planned preventative and reactive works
  • Supervise in-house staff and contractors to ensure quality and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate records of works, inspections, and budgets
  • Respond promptly to client issues and resolve effectively
  • Manage maintenance budgets and identify savings
  • Support refurbishment and capital works projects
  • Work closely with operations and property management teams
 
The Person:
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
  • Solid understanding of Irish health & safety and compliance regulations
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in property/building maintenance management
  • Experience managing teams, contractors, budgets, and schedules
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office
  • Relevant technical qualification desirable
  • Full, clean driving licence (site visits required)
