Overview: Our client, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of lifting equipment, is seeking a Field-Based Fitter to install, repair, and maintain equipment across the Southern half of the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair lifting equipment (gantry cranes, hoists, lifts)
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic faults
Ensure all installations meet safety standards and regulations
Provide technical support to clients and colleagues
Complete job reports and safety records
Requirements:
Qualified mechanical fitter or equivalent trade certification
Experience with lifting equipment installation and maintenance
Knowledge of relevant mechanical/hydraulic systems and regulations
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently or in teams
