The Role:
We are seeking an Electricians Mate to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with basic electrical knowledge who wants to develop their skills while working alongside qualified electricians on a variety of projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Carry out tasks such as pulling cables, drilling, fitting conduits, and preparing work areas
  • Organise tools, equipment, and materials for jobs
  • Support electrical testing and troubleshooting under supervision
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site
 
The Person:
  • Willingness to work away from home: The role involves travelling to sites across Ireland, staying in provided accommodation from Monday to Friday, and requires the candidate to be comfortable working away from home for the week.
  • Previous experience in electrical, construction, or general operative work desirable
  • Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and systems
  • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a manual role
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
 
The Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate between €17ph - €24ph DOE
  • Country Money
  • Monday to Friday - (Early finish on Friday)
  • Annual Leave: 23 days, increasing to 25 days with service (1 extra day after 2 years, 1 more after 4 years)
