The Role: An excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to work directly with the CFO of a dynamic and expanding group. You’ll gain exposure across multiple divisions, taking on a commercially focused role where you’ll help shape financial performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review management accounts for a number of divisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Monitor financial performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in implementing improved reporting systems and controls across divisions.
Work closely with divisional managers to provide commercial insights and support business decisions.
Contribute to group-wide projects, including systems integration and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
The Person:
Commercially driven, confident working closely with leadership teams with strong analytical and business acumen.
Comfortable working across multiple businesses and managing competing priorities.
Background in haulage, leasing, or asset-heavy industries is a strong advantage.
Previous experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or commercial finance roles required
Benefits:
Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 (depending on experience).
