As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for both the strategic and operational performance of the organisation — ensuring the business continues to run efficiently while driving growth, sustainability, and service excellence. You’ll lead a dedicated team and work closely with stakeholders to shape the company’s next phase of development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overseeing all daily operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service quality.
Driving sustainability initiatives, continuous improvement, and operational innovation.
Managing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
Ensuring full compliance with environmental, regulatory, and health & safety standards.
Developing and executing strategic business plans aligned with company goals.
Building strong relationships with customers, local authorities, and business partners.
Leading, mentoring, and motivating teams to maintain a safe, positive, and high-performing culture.
The Person
Proven leadership experience at senior management level — ideally within waste management, utilities, logistics, or related sectors.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing P&Ls.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
