Job Overview: Our client are seeking a Field-Based Mechanical Fitter to join their team. You will be responsible for the install, repair, and maintenance of their equipment on various clients sites across south Leinster.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain and repair a range of lifting equipment, including gantry cranes, hoists, and lifts
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
Work with a range of hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs
Ensure that all Mechanical installations meet current safety standards and regulations
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
Provide technical support to colleagues and clients as required
Complete accurate and timely documentation, including job reports and safety records
Requirements:
Qualified Fitter withexperience working in an industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and drawings
Knowledge of relevant mechanical regulations and safety standards
Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of lifting equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to clients' sites as required
