Our client, a well-established company in the agricultural industry is hiring for a farm manager to oversee operations on a farm in North Wales. Now a respected voice within the sector, they are committed to supporting family farmers and fostering long-term sustainability. They specialise in innovative farming techniques, working closely with nature to produce premium-quality products, all while prioritizing environmental responsibility.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong leadership and commercial skills who is passionate about animal welfare and operational excellence.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of daily farm operations
  • Ensure animals are cared for to the highest welfare and production standards
  • Plan and manage feeding, bedding, vaccinations, and husbandry
  • Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and compliance documentation
  • Maximise Daily Live Weight Gain (DLWG)
  • Ensure profitability and achievement of financial targets
  • Manage stock across the farm and warehouse
  • Oversee maintenance of property, equipment, and machinery
  • Keep the unit clean, tidy, and compliant with H&S and regulatory standards
  • Stay informed on pests and diseases
  • Oversee warehouse bookings and despatch operation
   Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as a Farm Manager with a record of meeting targets
  • Strong background in the dairy industry
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Commercially aware and target-driven
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
  • Full clean driving licence
  • A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Permanent, full-time role
  • Monday-Friday, 7.00am-5.30pm (with alternating weekend rota)
  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000
