The Role: As a Sales Executive - Horticulture & Landscaping, you'll take on a commercially focused role with a strong technical aspect. You'll work with a range of clients, from retailers to professional end users, offering solutions-based products and technical support to meet their horticultural and environmental needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing relationships, has a background in technical sales (ideally within horticulture, agriculture or construction), and is keen to work in a collaborative, growing team.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and suppliers
Secure new business through proactive networking and solution-based sales
Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams
Provide advice and support to clients regarding soil products and applications
Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and promotions
Represent the company at relevant industry events and exhibitions
The Person:
A relevant third-level degree (horticulture, agri-science, environmental science, etc.)
Experience in a technical sales role, ideally in horticulture, agriculture, landscaping or construction
A strong interest or background in soil, plant science, or sustainability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Good IT skills - marketing experience is a bonus
Benefits:
Base Salary of €40,000 - €50,000 depending on experience
