The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Electrician to join a large industrial operation for the night shift. The role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of machinery and equipment, directly contributing to overall productivity and site performance.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and site teams
  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support mechanical maintenance and breakdown response when required
  • Attend meetings and undertake reasonable additional duties as needed
 
The Person:
  • Qualified Electrician with a completed apprenticeship and National Trade Card
  • Minimum 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
  • Experience working in large industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, fault-finding, and safety practices
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with mechanical breakdowns
  • MEWP experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Full driving licence an advantage
 
The Offer:
  • Salary of €65,000 - €75,000
