Job Overview: We are seeking a Service Engineer to maintain, service and repair equipment on client sites and in the workshop. This is a field-based role with travel to customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on equipment both on-site and in the workshop
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
Service and inspect equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repairs
Liaise with clients professionally and provide excellent service
Follow all health & safety regulations and complete accurate job documentation
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Requirements:
Qualified Construction Plant Fitter or HGV Mechanic (or equivalent experience)
Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience with heavy plant, lifting equipment or similar machinery
Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Good communication skills and a professional approach to clients
