Business Development Manager - Industrial, Transport & Logistics

Dangan Group is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth.
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-growing, ambitious business and take ownership of developing new recruitment revenue streams within the Industrial, Transport & Logistics sector. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our national footprint for staffing and recruitment solutions.

As a key contributor to the commercial success of the business, you will promote and grow our recruitment service lines nationwide, operating in a high-demand, high-reward market with significant scope to make a tangible impact.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and secure new client opportunities across Ireland within the Industrial, Transport & Logistics sector
  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to grow our recruitment services offering
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and senior decision-makers
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets
  • Adopt a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
  • Prepare and present compelling, bespoke proposals and service offerings
  • Lead and manage relevant pitch and bid opportunities within the region
  • Drive sales growth through a variety of channels and business development initiatives
About You
  • Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or client-facing recruitment roles within Transport, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Recruitment (essential)
  • Strong understanding of the sector and its staffing and workforce challenges (essential)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Commercially astute with strong financial awareness
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong IT skills, including the MS Office suite
  • Full, clean driving licence
