Business Development Manager - Industrial, Transport & Logistics
Dangan Group is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our continued growth. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a fast-growing, ambitious business and take ownership of developing new recruitment revenue streams within the Industrial, Transport & Logistics sector. You will be at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our national footprint for staffing and recruitment solutions.
As a key contributor to the commercial success of the business, you will promote and grow our recruitment service lines nationwide, operating in a high-demand, high-reward market with significant scope to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new client opportunities across Ireland within the Industrial, Transport & Logistics sector
Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to grow our recruitment services offering
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and senior decision-makers
Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets
Adopt a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
Prepare and present compelling, bespoke proposals and service offerings
Lead and manage relevant pitch and bid opportunities within the region
Drive sales growth through a variety of channels and business development initiatives
About You
Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or client-facing recruitment roles within Transport, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Recruitment (essential)
Strong understanding of the sector and its staffing and workforce challenges (essential)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Commercially astute with strong financial awareness
Highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven
Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment
Strong IT skills, including the MS Office suite
Full, clean driving licence
