This is a great opportunity for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a growing materials business as part of the Mobile Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Manager and working within a team of five, the role involves hands-on maintenance and repair across multiple sites throughout Dublin. Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of large plant and heavy machinery across multiple operational sites.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults efficiently and implement effective repairs.
Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise operational downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance in line with company schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
Complete all relevant job documentation and maintenance records accurately.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
Liaise with site managers and colleagues to coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the mobile maintenance function.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience working with large plant and heavy machinery in a plant fitting, heavy equipment or similar role.
Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
Experience working in a field-based or mobile maintenance role is advantageous.
Full clean driving licence (essential).
Self-motivated and capable of working independently across multiple sites.
Flexible and agile approach to work, with the ability to adapt to varying site requirements.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Package
Full-time, permanent position covering multiple sites across Dublin.
Hourly rate of €20-€25, depending on experience.
Time and a half paid for late shifts (day and evening shift rotation).
