A leading construction company specialising in mechanical and structural delivery is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join its project team on a landmark 200MW Energy Centre development in West Dublin. This is a key on-site role supporting project delivery through robust document control, compliance, and information management processes.

The Role
The Senior Document Controller will take ownership of document management systems and processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of all technical and commercial documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the project document control system, ensuring accuracy and traceability
  • Control the flow of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical submittals
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and project requirements
  • Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and site teams to track document status
  • Maintain revision control and distribution logs
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Provide reporting on document progress and outstanding items
  • Mentor junior document control staff where required
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller within construction, ideally mechanical or structural projects
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems (e.g. Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint or similar)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office and document workflows
  • Ability to work full-time on site in West Dublin
