The Company: A well-established Irish engineering company specialising in the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial door and loading bay systems. With a strong client base across manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors, the company is continuing to grow and is expanding its team of field-based engineers.
The Role: Engineers will carry out new installations, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, including mechanical and electrical fault finding. Work is done both independently and in pairs, with occasional emergency callouts as part of the on-call rota.
Responsibilities:
Servicing and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and loading bay equipment
Electrical fault finding and repair of mechanical/electrical systems
Responding to emergency callouts as part of the on-call rota
Working independently or in pairs on installations and repairs
Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards
Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
Providing professional on-site support and communication to clients
The Person:
Qualified electrician or proven experience in electrical maintenance in industrial settings
Strong mechanical aptitude; industrial door experience advantageous
Full driving licence
Valid Safe Pass (essential)
Manual Handling and Working at Heights desirable (training provided)
The Offer:
Salary of €52,000 - €62,000+ DOE
40-45 hour week (typically 8am-5pm)
5x overtime after 8pm and all day Saturday
2x overtimes for Sundays and on-call work
On-call rota (1 in 8 weekends) with €150 stand-down payment and Minimum 3 hours pay per callout (per job)
