About the Role We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join a busy and growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing payroll for a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients
Accurately calculate PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, and other deductions
Submit payroll data via ROS in line with PAYE Modernisation
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure full compliance with legislation
Manage new starters, leavers, and payroll changes
Act as a key point of contact for client payroll queries
Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times
Requirements
Previous payroll experience (practice or bureau experience is a strong advantage)
Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation
Experience with payroll software (e.g., BrightPay, Thesaurus or similar)
