About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join a busy and growing accountancy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing payroll for a diverse client portfolio.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients
  • Accurately calculate PAYE, PRSI, USC, pensions, and other deductions
  • Submit payroll data via ROS in line with PAYE Modernisation
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure full compliance with legislation
  • Manage new starters, leavers, and payroll changes
  • Act as a key point of contact for client payroll queries
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations
  • Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times
Requirements
  • Previous payroll experience (practice or bureau experience is a strong advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., BrightPay, Thesaurus or similar)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Desirable
  • IPASS qualification (or working towards)
  • Experience managing multiple client payrolls
