An organisation in the renewable energy sector is hiring an Offtake Partnership Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships in line with the Renewable Energy strategy, while also identifying and developing new demand-led business opportunities. This role requires building and maintaining key relationships with large customers, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and development plans. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, significant experience negotiating and managing large commercial contracts, and proven leadership capability to support the delivery of a wider Energy Park vision and strategy. Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial development of multiple Renewable Energy Parks aligned with the wider project pipeline
Develop, communicate and manage delivery of a strategic roadmap, including customer engagement, policy/legislation, infrastructure development, and commercial contract strategy
Work closely with Policy & Regulation teams to engage with industry stakeholders and ensure appropriate technical, regulatory, and commercial supports are in place
Lead renewable energy offtake strategy and commercial discussions with large industrial customers
Manage and develop long-term strategic partnerships
Lead Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations and other key commercial agreements
Develop customer segmentation and sales strategies
Drive business development initiatives and define value propositions for large industrial clients
Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to develop integrated energy solutions, including engineering and design considerations
Support the establishment of joint ventures and strategic partnerships
Manage key external relationships with stakeholders such as EirGrid, GNI, Uisce Éireann, CRU, IDA, Enterprise Ireland, and relevant government departments
Work cross-functionally to identify and integrate complementary technologies such as Green Hydrogen, e-fuels, Anaerobic Digestion, FlexTech, and Energy Storage
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and actively participate in performance management processes
Requirements Education
Honours Degree (Level 8 NFQ) in Commercial, Energy, Engineering, or a related discipline
Postgraduate qualification (Level 9 NFQ) in a relevant field is desirable
Experience
Minimum 10+ years' experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector
At least 5 years' experience at senior management level
Proven experience in renewable energy, power generation, or large-scale infrastructure development
Strong track record in managing customer relationships and negotiating complex commercial contracts
Experience delivering programmes/projects across multiple priorities and timelines
Experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams
Experience presenting at industry conferences, forums, or public events is desirable
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging at executive level
Deep understanding of energy policy, regulatory frameworks, and market structures (Ireland/EU)
Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation and business strategy
Business development and sales experience is advantageous
Broader business management experience is an advantage

Ability to represent the organisation with credibility across industry, government, and customer forums
