Key Responsibilities
Preparation of working papers and financial statements in line with relevant standards
Preparation of management accounts (quarterly / bi-annual)
Completion and filing of VAT, VAT RTD and RCT returns
Preparation of draft year-end files
Bank reconciliations
Managing and responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner
Working both independently and as part of a team
Supporting the wider team with ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a practice environment
Accounting Technician qualification or IPASS certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of workload
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
Technical Skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Excel (minimum intermediate level)
Sage Accounts
Accounts production software (e.g. CCH or similar)
