RGII Certified Gas Service / Installation Engineer Location: Field-based / On the road Job Type: Full-time, permanent

The Role: A field-based RGII Certified Gas Service / Installation Engineer role, responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial gas heating systems. This is a hands-on position working across a variety of client sites, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install commercial gas heating systems, including full replacements
Service and maintain radiant and warm air heating systems
Carry out gas pipework installations (no welding required)
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on gas burners and associated systems
Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts
Maintain accurate service records and complete relevant documentation
Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety regulations and industry standards
The Person:
RGII certified (essential)
GIS / GID or NDG certification (desirable)
Proven experience in gas service, fault finding, and repair work
Strong understanding of commercial gas systems
Basic electrical knowledge (advantageous)
Experience in pipework, plumbing, or commercial heating systems desirable
Full, clean driving licence
Willingness to complete additional training (Safe Pass, MEWP, Manual Handling, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
The Offer:
Salary: €55,000 – €60,000+ (depending on experience)
€15 per day tax-free subsistence
