Responsibilities
  • Support preparation and filing of tax returns (income tax, corporation tax, VAT and related submissions) across a range of clients
  • Assist with tax compliance tasks including computations, review of client data, and ensuring timely submissions to authorities
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation
  • Help identify tax‑efficient solutions and highlight issues for senior team members
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high‑quality client service
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax legislation and assist with basic research or enquiries
Requirements
  • Part‑qualified (e.g. AITI/TMITI/CTA studies in progress) or equivalent tax/accountancy qualification
  • Some practical experience in tax compliance or related accounting role (e.g. in practice)
  • Well‑developed understanding of core Irish tax compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Effective communicator with ability to build positive client and team relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn tax software
