The Company A well-established and growing hospitality group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This key role involves managing the finance function of a busy, high-volume site, delivering accurate financial reporting, and supporting operational performance. Working closely with on-site management, the position also contributes to wider group initiatives within a fast-paced and collaborative environment that offers strong progression opportunities.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and complete balance sheet reconciliations to strict deadlines
Act as a key finance partner to site management, supporting performance and decision-making
Lead budgeting processes and contribute to financial planning
Manage weekly cashflow forecasting and reporting
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
Monitor costs, identify variances, and drive efficiencies
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with financial procedures
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Deliver financial analysis and reporting to senior management
Contribute to finance team projects and group initiatives
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Minimum 3+ years' post-qualified experience
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
Hospitality experience advantageous but not essential
