Corporate Finance Executive
 
Our client is an established and growing corporate finance and recovery advisory firm based in Athlone, who provide a full range of services including M&A advisory, business planning, restructuring, succession planning, and insolvency services for a broad client base.
Due to continued growth, we have been appointed to recruit a Corporate Finance Executive to join their team and work directly with senior leadership on a wide variety of assignments.
 
The Role
This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full lifecycle of corporate finance and recovery engagements. The successful candidate will support the Director across multiple live projects, gaining experience in transactions, advisory, and restructuring work.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse client financial information and accounts to support advisory engagements
  • Build and maintain financial models using Excel
  • Assist in corporate finance assignments including acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring projects
  • Support business planning, projections, and valuation exercises
  • Contribute to transaction processes including due diligence and structuring
  • Prepare reports, client communications, and formal documentation
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders via email, calls, and written correspondence
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
 
 
 
About You
  • 2-3 years' experience in accounting, corporate finance, or a related field
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Interest in corporate finance, transactions, and business advisory
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA or similar) or working towards is desirable
