The Company: Our client is a long-established Irish engineering company and market leader operating across sectors including Compressed Air, Garage Equipment, Heating, and Dust & Fume Extraction. They provide nationwide engineering solutions and service support to a large customer base.
The Role: Our client is seeking a Service Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, and repair works across customer sites, including both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair equipment on customer sites
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements
Complete service reports and maintenance records
Liaise with the Service Coordinator on scheduling and service requirements
Maintain strong customer communication and service standards
The Person:
Minimum 2 years’ maintenance/service experience
Mechanical background essential
Basic electrical knowledge
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Full driving licence required
Flexible to travel across Dublin and surrounding counties
