The Role: An opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician to join a busy workshop team carrying out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Carry out vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs efficiently
Prepare vehicles for CVRT testing
Attend breakdowns and accident-damaged vehicles when required
Fit and remove ancillary equipment and accessories
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
The Person:
Qualified HGV Mechanic
Experience working on commercial vehicles preferred
Experience with Mercedes, DAF, MAN, Iveco, or Renault Trucks advantageous
Full Class B Driving Licence required
Class C Licence advantageous
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good communication skills and fluent English
Motivated, reliable, and able to work well within a team
