The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced RGI Certified Gas Service / Installation Engineer to join their growing field-based team. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems. The successful candidate will work on the road, supporting clients with planned works, breakdowns, and emergency repairs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Install commercial gas heating systems and replacement units
  • Maintain and service radiant and warm air heating systems
  • Carry out gas pipework, with no welding required
  • Diagnose and repair gas burner faults
  • Support clients with breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Complete accurate service records and reports
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety standards and company procedures
  • Represent the company professionally while working on client sites
The Person:
  • RGII certification is required
  • GIS / GID certification is preferred
  • NDG certification is preferred
  • Proven experience in gas burner fault finding, servicing, and repairs
  • Experience in commercial gas, pipework, or plumbing is desirable
  • Basic electrical skills would be advantageous
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Willingness to complete additional training, including Safe Pass, MEWP, AW Training, and Manual Handling
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service
 
The Offer:
  • Salary from €50,000 - €55,000 DOE
  • Average earnings of €65,000 - €70,000 DOE including expenses and overtime
