Overview
We are looking for our client to appoint an organised and proactive Property Administrator to join their Residential Block Management team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with property administration experience to provide essential day-to-day support across a portfolio of residential multi-unit developments, including apartment blocks and housing estates. The successful candidate will play a key role in office administration, legal documentation, resident communications, and contractor coordination while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming telephone enquiries and direct queries appropriately.
  • Manage daily office administration, including opening, logging, and distributing incoming post, as well as preparing outgoing correspondence.
  • Prepare, compile, and issue Multi-Unit Developments (MUD) Act replies and pre-contract sales documentation for solicitors.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance for residential developments, including lifts, cleaning, landscaping, waste management, and other communal services.
  • Issue work orders to approved contractors and monitor completion of works.
  • Maintain contractor records, including key handovers, health and safety documentation, and invoice verification.
  • Respond to day-to-day enquiries from property owners and tenants regarding building access, parking permits, and estate regulations.
  • Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011 and Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) requirements.
RequirementsExperience
  • 1-2+ years' experience in property administration.
  • Previous experience within residential block management or an estate agency environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge
  • Good understanding of the Multi-Unit Developments (MUD) Act 2011.
  • Experience preparing legal sales packs and MUD Act documentation is advantageous.
Qualifications
  • A PSRA Licence (Category C or D) is advantageous but not essential.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using block management software, such as Blockman, would be beneficial.
Personal Attributes
  • Excellent communication and telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling legal documentation.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
