Key Responsibilities As a Trainee Accountant, you will:
Support senior colleagues by producing accurate work within agreed deadlines.
Develop technical knowledge through a combination of workplace learning and professional study.
Apply knowledge gained across a broad client portfolio.
Review your own work to identify and correct errors before submission.
Maintain professional communication with clients and colleagues.
Deliver work in line with company standards and procedures.

Bookkeeping

General Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of clients and their businesses.
Understand the objectives and scope of assigned tasks.
Keep managers informed of progress, issues and deadlines.
Prepare statutory accounts ready for review.
Produce accurate, high-quality work in accordance with company standards.
Make effective use of available resources to resolve queries independently.
Accurately complete and maintain timesheets for client billing purposes.
Liaise with clients to obtain information required for accounts preparation and management reporting.
Complete work following manager review and client feedback.
Handle incoming telephone calls and communicate professionally with clients.
Provide reception cover when required.
Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
Support ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.
Participate in additional business initiatives, committees or social activities where opportunities arise.
Candidate Requirements We are looking for someone who is:
Educated in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
Passionate about building a long-term career in accountancy.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
Proactive and eager to learn.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Professional and confident when communicating with clients and colleagues.
