The Role: We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team. The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery, equipment, and structures according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring safe and efficient operations across the business.
Responsibilities:
Install and align machinery and equipment, ensuring correct and safe functionality.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to maximise performance and longevity.
Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and rectify defects or malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE.
Handle and store materials and components safely, maintaining accurate inventory records.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and colleagues on progress, challenges, and process improvements.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of assemblies, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Keep up to date with new technologies, tools, and techniques, undertaking training as required.
Attend meetings as required and represent the company as a positive ambassador.
Undertake any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
The Person:
Minimum 2 years' experience following successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
National Trade Card/Certificate.
Prior experience on large industrial sites.
Strong interest in mechanical equipment, with hands-on experience in maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
MEWP experience desirable but not essential.
Strong knowledge of installation processes and troubleshooting electrical systems (including conduit and wiring, motors, instrumentation, recording devices, starters, and temporary wiring setups).
Good understanding of electrical and electronic devices (circuits, switches, breakers, wiring) and related safety precautions.
Full driving licence and own transport an advantage, but not essential.
Fluent in English.
The Offer:
Salary of €50,000 - €60,000
22 days annually, increasing with length of service.
